To ensure long life and dependability, all our turbo chargers are triple balanced up to 180,000 RPM. Our turbo chargers feature high-quality copper journal bearings, copper thrust washer, machined billet aluminum compressor wheel, a beautiful polished aluminum compressor housing, and the peace of mind of a one-year warranty.

This Performance Turbo Fits the following Caterpillar Applications:

Caterpillar 3406B & 3406C 14.6L 1989-2003

Bully Dog Big Rig Turbocharger Features:

Quicker spool up than OEM, less lag
Flow a higher volume of air
Increase boost by 6-10 lbs over OEM
Improve horsepower and fuel economy
Lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs)

Performance: Reduced turbo lag for a better throttle response. Faster spinning turbo increases horsepower and torque.

Reliability: Better air flow reduces engine temps to help improve reliability.

Economy: Increase fuel economy with these improvements.

Due to the increase boost performance we recommend also upgrading the turbo mounting studs with ARP studs. See below
